Films, documentaries and audiovisual materials are very common in our everydaylives. Increasingly, we are experiencing the world through the screen—the screens of our televisions, mobile phones and computers. Being the viewer, watching the finished product of a movie or listening to a song, we rarely have the chance to really think about how these materials were produced. Technology makes everything look easy and simple, and we do not realize that there are many people behind the audiovisual productions who work with their creative and special skills to bring these to us. Who are these people behind the screens? To discover and meet them, Bophana Audiovisual Resource Center has the honor to organize a workshop to present the key experts in audiovisual industry to share their works and experiences that they do behind the screen. It will be an occasion to present and discuss further details in the sector through hands-on activities, demonstrations and discussion with professional producers.
